Erected in April 2013 the temporary
fencing and white gantry and scaffolding have been put in place in preparation
for the restoration of the Bell Tower.
The restoration is being managed by
the St Paul’s Presbyterian Church Restoration Trust.

Pieces of stone were then shaped specifically to replace every stone leaving the facade as beautiful as it was originally.
Stage one of the Bell Tower restoration commenced during 2014 and focused on the northern facing side of the tower.

Scaffolding was erected quickly and the initial stage was to delicately remove the weathered stone showing signs of deterioration.
